20 years of Branddoctors
On April 1, 2001, the signature was put at the Chamber of Commerce and the foundation of Branddoctors: agency for strategic marketing, was a fact. The founding mothers Emilie Huber and Susanne Swinkels had quit their marketing position at Unilever because they believed that marketing could and should be done differently.
'Adding value to the customer's life' was the motto. That is what drives Branddoctors to this day. This meant visiting the customer in his normal 'home situation' and going through insurance folders, doing groceries or baking tartcakes with him, just as the job required.
Branddoctors quickly became a major agency
Customers such as KPN, Volkswagen and PostNL soon found their way to the agency. In addition to increasing sales, Branddoctors strived from the outset to exceed expectations, thus building long-term partnerships.
The step to the Edisonbaan in Nieuwegein in 2006 was another step in professionalisation. A private building with workshop rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and sufficient workplaces was a fact. Branddoctors had grown from 2 ladies with ambition to an office of approximately 25 colleagues.
Creative meeting place
The office has always been a creative meeting place and invites fellow offices to (temporarily) join. For example, 3MO, Business Openers, Bureau Nijman and van Haaster, Logiqol have been reviewed in recent years. With Mixe, the brand portfolio was broadened to include healthcare and a new progressive dynamic was created. Branddoctors and Mixe merged in 2015.
In 2018, Mike Janssen and Gijsbert Croes took over from Susanne Swinkels, Emilie Huber had already said goodbye a few years earlier to realize her dream of pioneering again. Peter van der Schouw and Heidi Wielens have also been partners ever since. The Branddoctors the team. further developed into an agency for strategic marketing with people in the middle.
